About
Riccarda Suitner is currently a fellow of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (German National Merit Foundation) at the Gotha Research Centre of the University of Erfurt.
Her research interests and publications lie in 2 main areas:
- The Intellectual History of the XVII and XVIII Centuries, in particular Radical Enlightenment and Clandestine Literature, Italian and German Enlightenment, Cartesianism and Demonology. In relation to these fields of research, she has just completed a monographic study about the clandestine circulation of “Dialogues of the Dead” among the German student community of the early XVIII Century.
- The Renaissance History of Medicine and Theology. She is currently working on a monograph that takes into consideration the links between medicine and the Radical Reformation in Europe.
